THE TRAINING SIMPLY GIVES YOU THE CERTIFICATION TO APPLY FOR THE LICENCE.

How do I get an SIA Licence?


* Must be 18 or above


* UK/EU Resident (No work restrictions) 


* Must be able to speak english at level 2


* Have gained the level 2 Door Supervisor qualification



You can attend our 4-day course, and after passing the exam you may apply for an SIA Licence.

The recognised SIA qualification consists of four units:


Unit 1 - Working for the Private Security Industry

Guided Learning Hours: 10

Assessment Method: Multiple Choice Questions

This unit covers the following topics:

         Module 1: Private Security Industry and awareness of the law.

         Module 2: Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative

         Module 3: Fire Safety Awareness

         Module 4: Emergency Procedures

         Module 5: The Private Security Industry

         Module 6: Communication Skills and Customer Care


Unit 2 - Working as a Door Supervisor

Guided Learning Hours: 10

Assessment Method: Multiple Choice Questions

This unit covers the following topics

         Module 1: Behavioural Standards

         Module 2: Civil and Criminal Law

         Module 3: Searching

         Module 4: Arrest

         Module 5: Drugs Awareness

         Module 6: Recording Incidents and Crime Preservation

         Module 7: Licensing Law

         Module 8: Emergency Procedures


Unit 3 - Conflict Management

Guided Learning Hours: 8

Assessment Method: Multiple Choice Questions

This unit covers the following topics

         Module 1: Avoiding Conflict and Reducing Personal Risk

         Module 2: Defusing Conflict

         Module 3: Resolving and Learning from Conflict

         Module 4: Emergency Procedures

         Module 4b: Application of Communication Skills and Conflict Management for Door Supervisors


Unit 4 - Physical Intervention skills for the private security industry
